Make way for Refractor

BC Endurance Champ - Refractor
I've got three top distance stallions; Nightwing, War Machine, and Union Jack.

My carefully planned stable calls for three stallions.  That's all I can house, and frankly, that's all I need.  Refractor though, is making a strong case to be kept.  However, keeping him means that one of my other boys have to go.

But, how do you dump a stable icon like Nightwing?  How can you possibly send a Triple Crown winner like War Machine packing?  Can you sell off an up-an-coming stud like Union Jack?  The answers are: you don't, you can't, and absolutely not.  So, when another sensational racer with huge potential as a stud comes along, you just gotta make room!

Refractor has proven that he is one of the best 16F racers in the history of Photo-Finish.  You simply do not ship out a horse like that when his racing career is over.  Luckily, Refractor is a late maturing horse with a peak that is projected to last a couple years, so he will race this year and next for sure.  After that, he'll stay on and join up with the other fella's as another premier distance stud for Otsego Farms.

By the way, check out this picture of Refractor with his pic on PF. It's almost perfect, even with the three white socks on the right feet!

Its a bit of an early crow that he is one of the best 16f horse's in PF history, ATM he is not as good as promised land, memcay, heat seeker.

None are so blind as those who will not see.

Refractor has run at 16F just 4 times thus far in his young career, and yet if you stacked up all of the 16F times of these four horses, Refractor would own the top 4 performances.

Memcay ran 16F just 5 times over the course of his career and none of his times are even close to Refractor's worst time.

Promised Land isn't even in the same ballpark as Refractor. At 16F, he would have beat her by 10+ lengths, every time.

Heat Seeker is a bit closer talent-wise. His BEST time ties Refractor's WORST time.

Based on the stats, I'd say that my quotation of "Refractor being one of the best 16F racers in the history of PF" is accurate, and probably an understatement.

Alphabet? Bring him on Foxie. He might usurp the mantle eventually, but Refractor will eat him for dinner right now. :)

The only thing we can go on is his 1st run as a 2yo and u have to realise that was very early on in his 2yo career and he will always get the weight advantage over Refractor in all his races .. I know u want mine to do well as he is by UJ i honestly think we could have a dinky dong battle going on if mine does what he looks like he will do
